The Rays took heat for trading Jake Cronenworth to the Padres for Xavier Edwards -- and after he was quiet in his progress -- they shipped him to Miami for other prospects. Either way, glad he's turning it around and making some good progress!

December 6, 2019: Traded by the San Diego Padres with a player to be named later and Hunter Renfroe to the Tampa Bay Rays for Jake Cronenworth and Tommy Pham. The San Diego Padres sent Esteban Quiroz (March 26, 2020) to the Tampa Bay Rays to complete the trade.
November 15, 2022: Traded by the Tampa Bay Rays with JT Chargois to the Miami Marlins for Marcus Johnson (minors) and Santiago Suarez (minors).
Yeah, the Freeman card is on my watchlist now, just looking for the best one, graded or raw. Minor league trades are always interesting to me to see how teams value certain players at certain positions. We always second guess when we get rid of someone who does well later on another team, but often forget that maybe they were stuck behind a can't miss prospect who ended up being a bust.
